I just moved cross-country, again, two months ago and since I just started a new job, there was no way I was able to attend Elvis Week 2018. As sadden as I am to be missing out – FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) is real – I am thrilled to have many opportunities to connect and feel like I am a part of the magic happening in Memphis with the help of technology.
Many friends are going live on Facebook making it easy to enjoy Elvis entertainment and stay up-to-date on the latest contest happenings. If you are like me and unable to attend, be like me and attend Elvis Week Virtually.
Livestream with Graceland
Just as they do each year, Graceland streams the Candlelight Vigil. This event is the most important event to attend at any Elvis Week. It is a quiet remembrance of Elvis’s life and legacy.
This year, Graceland is also Livestreaming their Auction! As much as I would love to be there to bid with the $0.00 I have, being able to watch and think about bidding for is exciting! Let me just say, I would LOVE to get my hands on the Television with the gunshot… if only.

Graceland has their own Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter. If you have your own account, staying up on all the latest happenings eases the FOMO pain.
Make sure to head to their YouTube channel as they will be posting videos throughout the week and download the smartphone app! Though it is helpful for those ACTUALLY in Memphis, it does have plenty for those stuck at home to view.
Stalk Facebook
If you are like me, then you will want to watch all the contest in the moment. Luckily for Facebook users, many other users go live from these events and make it easy for those not in attendance to watch! It may take some stalking of strangers, but it does connect Elvis fans.
