Elvis was often criticized at the beginning of his career for his dance moves during his performances. He couldn’t understand why people would lose their minds as he began expressing himself, he just moved because he could not help it. He definitely had a rhythm all over!

I always find it so sad Elvis was unable to perform live concerts for over a decade. Once he stopped making movies and after the ’68 Comeback Special, Elvis had returned and made his presence known in Las Vegas. Elvis was truly his best onstage and those who were not able to actually see him live can enjoy those moments through specials and documentaries.

Personally, Elvis has been one of the biggest influences in my entire life. Ever since falling in love with him at the age of five, without any influence from family members as they were not huge Elvis fans, Elvis and his music have been a LARGE part of my life and who I am as a person. If he is this important to me, a stranger who never met him, it makes me wonder if every Elvis fan feels the same as I do. He will forever and always be important.
